Level 3
Welcome
Level 3 is the final step within the Scapicchio Academy journey. This is not a workshop or standard training course, but a professional examination designed to test your knowledge, discipline, consistency, and technical mastery under pressure. Over the course of two intensive days in Bovino, candidates are evaluated on theory, freehand honing, traditional shaving, protocols, and professional execution. Only those who demonstrate true mastery earn the official Ambassador title.
What You Will Learn
Level 3 is designed to push barbers beyond technique alone. During this intensive examination, you will learn how to perform, present, and work under professional pressure while demonstrating a deep understanding of traditional barbering, freehand honing, protocols, and shaving systems. You will also begin to understand the responsibility behind representing the Scapicchio Academy by participating alongside official Academy training moments and learning how to support and guide students within the Academy environment.
For Who Is It & What Are the Benefits?
Level 3 is for barbers who have completed Level 1 in Bovino and Level 2 in Ghent, and who want to be recognised worldwide as part of the inner circle of the Scapicchio Academy. It is aimed at professionals who wish to carry the Maestro Barber title, host the official 2 day workshop in their own shop, and participate in Scapicchio events across the world.
If you prove yourself in time as an ambassador the family will handpick new Maestro barber all over the world. More information about what is a Ambassador you can find here.

Format: During Level 1
When?
Level 3 is scheduled personally to ensure quality and proper guidance throughout the examination process. Together with your Level 2 mentor, you will arrange a suitable moment to return to Bovino during an official Academy training session.
DIPLOMA
Upon completion, you will receive the official Scapicchio Accademia Level 3 DIPLOMA, directly recognized by the Scapicchio Family and respected worldwide and you will become an Ambassador.

Accommodation, transport, and meals are not included.
Accommodation in Bovino: approximately €60 per day, excluding VAT.
The hotel reservation and restaurant arrangements during your stay will be fully organized for you.
An invoice for the accommodation will be issued by Luigi Scapicchio, based on the duration of your stay.
