This two-day program at the Scapicchio Academy offers a first, but deeper step into the world of traditional barbering. You will experience a hands-on practice, designed to give you a true taste of the craft. In just two days, you will learn the fundamentals of honing and shaving with an open razor. It is the perfect opportunity to discover whether this profession and tradition are the right path for you.
What You Will Learn
In this two-days international workshop you will discover the essence of the barber’s craft. You will learn how to prepare and handle the tools, practice the basics of honing on a straight razor, and experience your first steps in traditional shaving. Alongside the hands-on work, you will also be introduced to the Scapicchio philosophy and heritage, giving you a clear first taste of what it means to step into this tradition.
For Who?
This training is designed for barbers and enthusiasts who want to begin their journey with the straight razor. No prior experience is required, only passion, focus, and the will to learn.
The content is taught at the same level as Level 1, intended for those who cannot or do not wish to follow Level 1 in Bovino. Please note that this workshop is not part of the official Scapicchio pathway to become a Maestro Barber. To follow the official progression, Level 1 in Bovino and then Level 2 in Ghent are required before progressing to Level 3.
Participants can expect a clear introduction to the fundamentals, guided step-by-step with professional structure, safe technique, and practical coaching to build a strong and confident base.
