As a third-generation Master Barber
Luca first met the Scapicchio family at a trade fair in Rome, and from the very beginning, he was drawn to their story and to the way they live the craft.
As a third-generation barber, raised in a profession passed down from his grandfather and father, Luca immediately recognized something familiar in the Scapicchio approach: respect for tradition, discipline in technique, and a deep sense of responsibility toward the next generation. That connection pushed him to go further—to study their knowledge in depth and to understand the standard behind the name.
What resonated most with him is the Academy’s commitment to the essentials that define traditional barbering at its highest level: honing on natural stone, the correct use of traditional straight razors, and the belief that shaving should never be “just a service.” In the Scapicchio philosophy, a shave is a true ceremony, a refined ritual where the client is guided through an experience designed specifically for him.
Luca has been part of the Scapicchio family since 2024, and today he proudly contributes to the Academy’s mission: transmitting tradition with precision, supporting barbers who want to learn the authentic craft of traditional shaving, and helping keep this heritage alive, one edge, one ritual, and one student at a time.
